Our Services
-
Consultation
The surgeon will review the area of concern in our Baker Street clinic rooms, and discuss your options. If you opt to have treatment in the same appointment, the cost of the consultation will be discounted from the treatment.
-
Cryotherapy
A quick, simple procedure where cold nitrous oxide is sprayed onto the skin. It effectively treats a wide variety of lesions, and usually heals without scarring.
-
Curettage & Cautery
This is a quick procedure done under local anaesthetic. Once the anaesthetic is working, the lesion is painlessly shaved or scraped off. No stitches are required so there is minimal recovery afterwards, and clients can return to their usual activities immediately.

Faq

A curettage and cautery mole removal at our Baker Street rooms starts at £200. Cryotherapy for smaller lesions starts at £50. As the clinic is run 'ad hoc' around our surgeon's NHS commitments, we have reduced overheads and can offer very competitive rates compared to other providers
-
No. Most procedures we offer take around 10-15 minutes, and mean our clients can return immediately to work or normal activities
-
Pain is minimal. Although cryotherapy can sting a little, each application lasts less than 10 seconds. If we are doing a curettage and cautery, we use a local anesthetic injection. This stings slightly when it goes in, but after this the procedure is completely painless. If you are concerned or worried about any aspect of your procedure, please get in touch via email and we can talk you through it.
-
Usually it takes 2 to 3 weeks. If we have done curettage and cautery, you may be left with a very small pink scar. We can advise on how to optimize the healing process, and, unlike some other clinics, we won't try to sell you any expensive products for commission. Studies have shown simple, cheap moisturisers to be very effective - your surgeon can tell you more.
-
Our expert surgeon ensures that complications from cryotherapy and curettage are rare. Occasionally a minor infection can occur, or there can be some bleeding after curettage, or the resultant scar can be larger than expected.
